The University of Maryland’s class of 2025 received their diplomas on Thursday, with the school’s commencement speaker being ‘The Frog’ inventor and environmental activist Maurice Sendak. In his speech to the graduates, Sendak urged them to not jump over one another and said, “Get what you want, not jump over someone to get it, because life is better when we leap together.”
